Ian Burnstein

Ian Burnstein is co-founder and COO of Storage Opportunity Partners LLC and Storage Pros Management LLC. In this capacity, he coordinates all operational aspects of the companies, including property management, technology and personnel for a portfolio of 13 properties encompassing more than 750,000 rentable square feet of self storage.

Ian has developed and managed storage facilities for more than eight years and is a member of the Michigan bar. He is also leading entrepreneur in the combined fields of real estate and technology, and is President and co-founder of Kirkshire Site Selection Services, and Xsite Validation LLC, a real estate demographic service.

Ian has been an active principal in over $125,000,000 of real estate investments and has served in an advisory capacity in numerous other real estate transactions. In addition to his activities within the self storage industry, Ian has also coordinated the site selection and development of several single-family residential projects in North Carolina and South Carolina.

Ian is a licensed real estate broker and he holds a legal degree from the University of Detroit and a B.A. from the University of Michigan. Ian was a real estate attorney at the law firm of Jaffe, Raitt, Heuer and Weiss, P.C. for four years following law school specializing in real estate transactions.

David M. Levenfeld

David M. Levenfeld is co-founder and CEO of Storage Opportunity Partners LLC and Storage Pros Management LLC, overseeing investment, finance and capital improvement for the companies and their affiliates. David has worked in the self-storage investment community nationwide for more than 18 years. He is also President and co-founder of The River Group, Inc., a real estate investment, advisory and brokerage firm founded in 1989.

Between 1996-2001, David served as Vice President – Development, for Storage USA, at that time, a NYSE-listed real estate investment trust (REIT). In that capacity, he supervised the company’s development activities in the eastern third of the country, including the development of numerous new construction, expansion and conversion self-storage facilities. Since 2002, both individually and in partnership with various institutional and private investors, David has acquired more than 30 institutional-grade self storage properties totaling more than 2.25 million square feet of rentable space with an aggregate value in excess of $250 million.

David has also brokered the sale of more than $120 million worth of self-storage facilities and development parcels in the northeast US.

David is a licensed real estate broker in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. He earned a Masters in Business Administration from the University of Pennsylvania, Wharton Graduate School of Business, where he concentrated in Real Estate and Finance. He also holds a Masters degree from the University of Chicago and a Bachelor of Arts from Boston University.

 

Natalia Odish

Natalia Odish serves as the Director of Sales & Marketing for the Storage Business Owners Alliance. In this role, she is responsible for membership recruitment, training and retention, as well as the coordination of SBOA's relationships with its vendors. Her career has concentrated mainly in the real estate industry since 1998, with a variety of roles including commercial credit, new home sales and mortgage lending. Natalia holds a B.B.A. in Finance from the University of Michigan.

Lori Milbocker

Lori Milbocker is the Chief Financial Officer of Storage Opportunity Partners LLC and its affiliated companies. Lori has extensive experience as a Controller in the land development and building industry for large multi-use projects in the southeast Michigan area. Recently, Lori served as a General Manager for a consulting firm in Chicago, overseeing mid-rise and high-rise condominium projects in multiple states. Lori holds a BA degree from Walsh College and is currently working on her Masters of Finance Degree.
